Even Arthur knows the effect of technology-mainly cellphones, which can lessen people's physical and verbal interaction with each other. Technology distracts us from being active and self reliant. Our attention span is shorten and our conversational interaction is disoriented. Trust me, I have a cell-phone, I love what technology allows me to do, and I like my cell-phone, computer, and tablet, but I believe each technology serves a specific purpose, even-though in the 21st century, technology has multiple functions along with it's original purpose, so I can understand why people may be so absorbed, attached, and lost without it. It is entertainment, and without it, we feel like we are incapable to entertain ourselves, especially the current generation. A generation that has never knew a life without technology or the surplus of technology-they are not taught the value of time and time spent. They do not understand the quality of being alone, listening to your thoughts, and having a time alone with your imagination. Also, spending time outside, with friends, family-free, unforced, unscheduled time to be active. Yet, a children's show like Arthur can teach us all that lesson. Watch- and learn something!
I am ashamed. I kept reminding myself to write a Memorial Day Post-well this is past due but Thank you to all who died to protect the land of the free, opportunities, and diversity we call America. I salute you all! The beginning of my Memorial Day was spent washing tons of laundry, then I rode my bike to CVS and got 88 cent Neon sour worms candy and then went to my friend's house. I had fun-I ate home-made onion "rings," I put the rings in quotes cause they we're kind-off messed up. Most of them looked like oily fried onions but I ate them with Hot sauce. That was my Memorial Day. I know it's a bit late but how was yours? The only problem I have with this video is that it says, "Funny Mother's Day Video," when obviously they're nothing funny about it. They say church media-Why You LIE! *throw shoe* The video is cute but at the same time corny. I guess the only thing funny about it is how they make mothers look like servants, especially in the proverbs. Funny-not. Also one of the mothers looks like a psycho with her creepy eyebrows. I'm a fan of good music, so I don't care what genre, style, nationality or language it's spoken in. So when I discover a new tune that I like I listen to it, without judgment like, I can't understand what their saying, so I'm not listening to it. That kind of narrow mindedness needs to be left somewhere else As a Fine Artist, I like to experience things artistically, and embrace all cultures. I feel that the best part of life is living a life where you embrace every type of life, with understanding and open-mindedness. and for as long as I can remember, that is what I have done. Since being interested in Japanese culture and music, Egyptian history, mummies anything from ancient history, to lebononise music, and Indian music and Bollywood. I LOVE Bollywood. I live in American, so off-course American music is primarily the music I grew up with. But since I am African, I listen to a lot of African music-all types. For a long time I hadn't know or cared about anything Korean. China and Japan, Pretty much stole the limelight in American culture and media, so the only thing I knew about Korea was the Korean War. I don't know exactly how it happened, but i was searching on the internet for music to listen to, I have already been listening to Japanese music and french and even Russian I wanted something knew. So, somehow (Bang!) there was a video with a name called Big Bang. The Name was interesting, so I clicked on it.
Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy I am not even going to say anything, just read this article, it speaks for itself, Republican are officially hype. I mean yeah, they've always been hype-I'm speechless, the racist, egotistical self-righteous, mindless behavior they have is beyond!. I watched this new on MSNBC and laughed. Comment below and tel me what you think. oh and i'm you are republican, don't be so bias cause I am a independence. Independently watching this from both sides of the political spectrum, and I taking the side that makes the most sense. Fox is overrated, I've watched it, Bill Reilly is seriously drugging-Real Talk.
