I'm a fan of good music, so I don't care what genre, style, nationality or language it's spoken in. So when I discover a new tune that I like I listen to it, without judgment like, I can't understand what their saying, so I'm not listening to it. That kind of narrow mindedness needs to be left somewhere else As a Fine Artist, I like to experience things artistically, and embrace all cultures. I feel that the best part of life is living a life where you embrace every type of life, with understanding and open-mindedness. and for as long as I can remember, that is what I have done. Since being interested in Japanese culture and music, Egyptian history, mummies anything from ancient history, to lebononise music, and Indian music and Bollywood. I LOVE Bollywood. I live in American, so off-course American music is primarily the music I grew up with. But since I am African, I listen to a lot of African music-all types. For a long time I hadn't know or cared about anything Korean. China and Japan, Pretty much stole the limelight in American culture and media, so the only thing I knew about Korea was the Korean War. I don't know exactly how it happened, but i was searching on the internet for music to listen to, I have already been listening to Japanese music and french and even Russian I wanted something knew. So, somehow (Bang!) there was a video with a name called Big Bang. The Name was interesting, so I clicked on it. Off-course you know what happened next. An explosion of all Korean pop music, just pooped all over YouTube and I clicked, like a little kid on an new expedition. I listened to Haru-Haru, Lies, everything Big Bang, I watched their Television appearances, so on. I liked them. I loved the charisma that G-Dargon carried himself with, that energy of a hard working, motivated singer, someone who clearly looked like they were enjoying themselves and their profession. I loved TOP, his name is just awesome. His attitude and style was gentlman charming slash Playboyish and a little gangerish. It had it's own "SWAG". Everyone esle in the group was just memebers in my eyes, and so they continue to be. Then I watched other groups like DBSK! before they stupidly disband-whyyyy, "your music sucks purne juice now, man!" Well I liked their Charm, expect the two ugly looking frog twins. They just looked like old fag, seriously. "God please forgive my language, they're handsome in someone's eyes, just not mines." This is the song I liked the most.
Moving on to others. After them came BOA. With her energetic dance moves, so different and fresh, and her impressive fluent Japanese language skills. I know shes very iconic in Korea, because she has done so much for the Hulu movement and bring awareness to the Korean culture and music but, honestly I think her previous music sucked beeswax. I only like one song of her, and I didn't gag when I watched the others too. These are the two song I could withstand before turning it off-like the others.
